Welcome to Philly Senior Stage!

We bring theatre workshops to senior communities, professional and community theatres, colleges and institutions.

We create original theatre shows from the life experiences of our participants.

We stage classical and contemporary plays using older adults as actors.

Creativity matters – at all ages. Drama and theatrical expression are effective tools for meeting the psychological and emotional needs of older adults. Our programs foster the physical, as well as verbal expression of ideas, thoughts, and feelings. Our older students and actors bring forth their wisdom and spiritual connection to dramatic self-expression. We engage, involve, and
build community.
